SUMMARY:Membership Luncheon - May 2021
DESCRIPTION:Join IN PERSON for lunch! Our member luncheons offer great networking\, an opportunity to make with new business connections and catch up with other. Each luncheon has a different guest speaker to help keep our members up-to-date on the local community\, business hot topics\, statewide information and much more.\n\n\n\nThis month\, the Douglas County Sherriff's Department will provide the difficult to talk about but necessary topic of Safety in the Workplace / Active Threat Training. \n\n\n\nKnowing how to respond to an Active Threat isn't' enough. To truly plan for (and recover from) such an unthinkable event\, businesses should thoroughly prepare long before a threat even exists.\n\nThis training will provide valuable information about the characteristics\, prevention tools\, and response techniques that may be used before and during an active threat situation.\n\nThis course will be presented by Deputy Brian McKnight with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Community Resources Unit.\n\n\n\nPre-Registration is required\, as we have to get numbers to the caterer in advance. The deadline to register is 9:00 am on the Monday prior to lunch.
