DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Chamber Monthly Luncheon and hear Jiovanna Toppi present on the C-470 Express Lanes Project. \n\n\n\nMs. Toppi is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in civil engineering. Having worked at CDOT Region 1 for five years she was named Project Manager for the C-470 Express Lanes Project. Previously she lent her civil engineering expertise working at CDOT's Incident Command Center in Loveland\, Colorado with the 2014 flood repairs.\n\n\n\nShe is a contributing author to an article Storm-Water Solutions: Complete Agreement  in Roads & Bridges Magazine 2012: http://www.roadsbridges.com/storm-water-solutions-complete-agreement\n\n\n\nJiovanna's enthusiasm for the project coupled with her civil engineering background and her love of the Colorado outdoors makes her a perfect match for a project that will relieve traffic congestion while providing user choice and preserving recreational trials. She is happy to call Colorado her home and takes pride knowing her efforts will impact the daily lives and safety of Colorado citizens. \n\n\n\nJiovanna serves as a role model for young engineers seeking to advance their careers in the field of civil engineering. She recently represented CDOT at an all-girls engineering day at Northglenn's STEM High School. \n\n\n\nMs. Toppi is a former member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)\, Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Toastmasters. \n\n\n\n "I love that I can utilize my experience in civil engineering to contribute to making a great place even better while helping young engineers pursue their interests in building infrastructure for the future."\n\n\n\nJoin us each month for lunch!  Our member luncheons offer great networking\, an opportunity to make with new business connections and catch up with other.  Each month we line up a different guest speaker to help keep our members up-to-date on the local community\, business hot topics\, statewide information and much more.\n\n\n\nIn order to get an accurate head count\, registration will close the Monday before lunch.
