DESCRIPTION:PULLING TOGETHER TO GIVE CHILDREN A BRIGHTER FUTURE\n\nPlease join us for an evening of cocktails\, silent auction\, dinner\, live auction\, and dancing.\n\nSeptember 24\, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center \n\nPerformances by: Soul School and Clare Cranberg\n\nHosted by: Tim and Yana Bourdelais\n\nEmcee: Libby Weaver Papilion\n\nAuctioneer: Gary Corbett\n\n\nFor more than 30 years\, Advocates for Children-CASA has served abused and neglected children in Colorado's 18th Judicial District (Arapahoe\, Douglas\, Lincoln and Elbert counties). CASA volunteers are trained to represent the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect at the hands of those who are supposed to care for them. Each volunteer strives to ensure that every child dreams\, thrives and grows in a safe and permanent environment. Through the incredible strength of these volunteers\, Advocates for Children-CASA advocated for the safety and well-being of over 800 children last year\, alone.  \n\n \n\nAnnually\, Advocates for Children- CASA hosts The Red Wagon Ball. This event which includes a silent and live auction\, dinner\, program\, recognition ceremony and entertainment is a local philanthropic tradition\, raising the necessary funds and awareness that allow for Advocates for Children-CASA to continue to provide the advocacy services to abused and neglected children.  This year's Red Wagon Ball will be held on September 24\, 2016. We anticipate over 500 guests and are hoping to raise over $200\,000. Without the support of generous private donors\, local businesses and corporations\, this event would not be possible\, and ultimately\, Advocates for Children could not continue to serve these children and their families.
