DESCRIPTION:Hope and Resilience - A New Year\, A New Business.\n\nPresenter: Wendy Skaalerud\, EOS Implementer and Entrepreneur\n\n \n\nAfter a year of unexpected impact\, each of our business models have transformed\, adjusted and evolved in an effort to grow\, maintain\, or even to simply survive. For many of us\, our activity\, our products or services\, our organizational charts\, our revenue stream bear no resemblance to that of 12 months ago.\n\n\n\nWith the promise of a vaccine on the horizon\, there is excitement that the economy will stabilize and the market will begin to bustle with life again. While it will take time\, with this renewed sense of hope and a great amount of resilience that we all own\, we can reinvent what our business will look like in the new year. Reflecting on lessons learned and implementing new tools now will keep you focused on the steps needed to effectively reach your vision.\n\n\n\nWendy will share tools with you\, including Accountability Charts\, team health\, shared vision\, a clear plan moving into first quarter\, and how to address key issues. With a little entrepreneurial spirit\, a lot of hope and a great deal of grit\, we can all start the new year off on the right foot.\n\n\n\nAbout Wendy:\n\nWendy Skaalerud began her entrepreneurial career at the age of 21\, owning multiple businesses. In 2005\, Wendy co-founded Capital Lending Solutions\, a boutique business financing firm. She developed a solid understanding of Entrepreneurial business practices\, having advised several owners on best practices through all phases of the startup process as well as scaling and exit strategy.\n\n\n\nIn 2011\, Wendy\, along with her husband\, became among the first regional franchise developers for Orangetheory Fitness. In six short years\, the Skaaleruds grew the OTF Colorado enterprise to over 23\,000 members and employing over 150 staff.\n\n\n\nThe Colorado Region of OTF\, under the leadership of the Wendy and her team\, won multiple awards for Best Area Developers. Based on the immediate demand for brand consistency and transfer of culture\, Wendy spent many hours refining the business model and core values. In so doing\, she insured the strength of the model and its sustainability over time.\n\n\n\nAfter selling Oranetheory Fitness in August of 2018\, Wendy explored multiple avenues that would provide a proven platform to further support Entrepreneurs as they were experiencing challenges and opportunities in the development of their business. Through multiple interviews with her own mentors\, Wendy discovered those implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)\, were finding positive life changing shifts in their organizations. She immediately adopted EOS in her own business and became a Professional EOS Implementor.\n\n\n\nIn addition to her EOS business\, Wendy is in process of opening a new franchise concept in Colorado called Big Blue Swim School and speaks in numerous settings sharing her experience and passion for Entrepreneurial success.
